REMEMBRANCE Flatware + Serving & Chest Click images to enlarge Description Estate sale purchase of a wonderful set of 1847 Rogers Bros./International Silver Co. (1847 Rogers Bros. became apart of International Silver Co.) REMEMBRANCE 80 Pieces: 72 flatware setting & 8 serving pieces. in a tarnish resistant wood chest. Service for 8 with 8 pieces in each place setting plus an additional 8 teaspons. Then there are 8 serving pieces. All the pieces except the demitasse spoons have an intial “U”. Each place setting has the following pieces: dinner knife stainless steel blade 9 1/4″ dinner fork 7 1/2″ salad fork 6 3/4″ oval place spoon 7 3/8″ teaspoon 6 1/8″ iced tea spoon 7 3/4″ fruit/orange spoon 6″ demitasse spoon 4 1/2″ The serving pieces: master butter spreader 6 3/4″ cake server stainless steel blade 10″ gravy ladle 6 1/8″ sugar spoon 5 3/4″ 2 oval serving spoons 8 1/2″ pierced serving spoon 8 1/2″ cold meat fork 8 7/8″ All pieces are in excellent condition. The only do want to mention that the stainless steel blade of one of the knives has spots which can be seen in a photo. I am sure with the correct solution tha these will disappear. All pieces will come in a tarnish resistant wood chest which has kept this silverplate flatware tarnish free for many years. The box does have a few signs of wear on a corner and on a couple of the feet. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ At the moment we are including all the serving pieces with the place settings as this could change due to that they tend to sell better when listed on their own. Actually the same is also true with the placesetting pieces… The total weight of the silverware and chest is 11 lbs. 9 oz..
