Keep in mind that these notes are considerably larger, about 1/3 of the size larger than modern day paper money as all the old paper money was prior to 1928. Please keep in mind that the Confederate paper money was made pretty cheap. Cheap meaning that the paper used was very thin. This helped darker colors from the front to bleed through to the back and darker colors on the back, sometimes, to bleed through to the front. Generally, the colors from the front bled through to the back more so than back to front. We opted not to edit this out so that any side to side bleed through, if any, remains to help provide a more authentic look and to maintain this historical error. Being offered for sale: BEAUTIFUL REPRODUCTIONS / COPIES of 4 Confederate Notes; $10, $20, $50 & $100 as a package sale here for one price! Unlike other REPRODUCTIONS, these notes have the look of a circulated original with the look of all the creases, wrinkles, “muddiness”, and, minor foxing, yet the these are still copies from the digitally restored templates (as pictured). These notes were reproduced from some excellent originals that have little or no look of circulation. Confederate paper money was rather cheaply produced, too, so that originals are very thin allowing printing to “bleed” through to the other sides. While we could have deleted that “bleed through”, we decided to have it left as the historical abnormality that it is. This is a nice group of reproduction confederate bills for one price. No international sales, domestic sales only. No refunds or returns unless we’ve grossly misrepresented this item. Buyer pays shipping and handling fees. Questions ? First, PLEASE read all the information & view the photos, then, if you have questions, please, ask before you buy! As part of this package sale, the $10 note is actually 3 consecutively marked Confederate Artillery notes!! So, you are actually buying 6 notes for the price of 4!! These were digitally remasted from original note confederate notes. A more refreshing, inexpensive investment than a reproduction with that “crisp” new look. This might be a smart investment, too, to display the notes you love without risking loss or damage to your originals. Originals also sell for a hefty price. These notes come as a complete front and back centered on an 8 1/2 X 11 inch uncut page for framing on quality paper since it is intended for framing. You also receive one back side centered on an 8 1/2 x 11 inch uncut sheet. It would be up to you if you would like to trim the sheet. The back of the note is duly marked as “copy” as well as the front side of the note.These are not framed so you may choose the style & form you wish to mount these in. This is in compliance with Federal laws regarding the sale of reproduction (early) American currency as well as the rules established here on E bay. We have many different styles and periods available, including fractional paper currency, colonial notes and southern US states notes from the civil war period. The paper these are printed on is modern, new paper. Please, keep in mind that the Confederate paper money didn’t follow the same quality standards as did the US notes of the day. The paper was very thin, very cheap and often colors bled through from one side to the other. We’ve left this historical defect to help create a more authentic looking reproduction.
