Please read the whole description! On offer is a Chinese Hetian Jade/ Hardstone figurine of a mother monkey and her child. It is 4.5 cm long, 1.5 cm wide and 6 cm tall at the widest points. It is finely made with a good amount of details. This item was recently sourced from a UK seller here on eBay. Many modern day items were auctioned, alongside a couple of old ones. The style would indicate this is an antique item, but it may be a very well done modern day reproduction (which I doubt but cannot exclude though). So for this item, I won’t be making any age statement, as not to mislead anyone. With regards to the material I am 99.99% sure this is Hetian Jade, as I have handled hundreds of similar items so I can tell. The texture and colour point towards that as well. But selling it as Jade/Hardstone as I haven’t tested it, with no returns whatsoever. A nice item for decorative purposes, alongside a piece for any collection of Jade items. Condition Report: This figurine in excellent condition with no blemishes. The colour is (almost) the celadon green, which is one of the most desirable colours. Probably a shade darker. Very homogeneous colour throughout, which Makes it quite valuable. (Very) smooth texture, one notch above your normal Hetian Jade smoothness.
