BLOWFISH RACING SHIFTER SUPPORT KITS ARE BACK! Hey Mustang fam! During the pandemic, production had to halt. A deal was made to sell the IP and allow another company to continue on. That effort failed and now its time to bring it back from the dead. Shifting issues have not gone away, so we’re coming back to help! This doesn’t mean the entirety of Blowfish products will be coming back, only this one product. There’s still some limited old stock of those other products left to sell (which are also listed in their own auctions), but once its gone, its gone forever. Unfortunately, the TR3650 and TR6060 version WILL NOT return. Sorry. Depending on demand for the Shifter Support Kit, production may continue or it may end up as a limited run. Blowfish is no longer a brick and mortar company. Just a dude in a garage, coordinating with outside vendors to make this for you once again. This dude has a full-time job, so I will be doing my best to answer questions and fulfill orders. There’s no call center, no tech support staff, no shipping department. No way to make deals outside of eBay. Be patient. Be kind. I will return the favor. This new version is a no frills design. No fancy logo. No trick billet aluminum clamps (sheet metal). No pretty Ford blue (black only). No NVH isolation…because RACECAR! Superior shifter feel, YES! Precise shifter gate locations, YES! No more missed shifts, YES! NHRA legal driveshaft safety loop, HELL YES! Still clears 4″ driveshafts, YES! Still 100% made in America, ABSOFUKINLUTELY YES! This new version is one part number with the necessary components to accommodate every factory manual transmission (excluding GT500) from 2011 to current Mustangs. This system works with 2.3 Ecoboost, 3.7 V6, and Coyote MT82’s. It also works with the GT350 Tremec 3160. It clears the factory damper hanging off the back of the trans mount (if you choose to retain it). It has all the clamps included for the 3 available shifter styles found in these model years. That means, if you have a 2011 today and want to trade up for a GT350, you have the parts to swap it over! Bitchin, right?! Now that we’ve boiled this amazing product down to its essentials to give you only what you need to enjoy your shifting experience, it costs you less! FAIR WARNING: This kit will produce more NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness). Some will experience vibration. Some will experience vibration with noise. The MT82 transmission is a noisy sucker. Without that mushy body mount damping, you will experience an increase in NVH. Most noise is eliminated by resting your hand on the shift knob. Ford designed this silly outrigger type shifter to combat the noise, while compromising shift quality and precision. This kit corrects the slop, but will compromise NVH.
