Style 42 BBS RS Factory 17×8 et20 2-piece alloys – METALIC SILVER COLOR This is a fully restored set of wheels that is spectacular! Restored Factory BMW E39 530 MTech wheels BBS part #RS740 BMW part #36111094377 Size = 17×8. Offset = 20mm. Lug spacing is 5 on 120mm. Center bore = 74.1 mm (For E28, E24, E32, and E30 M3, hubcentric spacers are recommended) Fully Restored. This included professionally trueing a flat spots on the inner barrels of 2 wheels. There were no cracks or significant damages. No welding. The outer lips were then polished to a mirror finish and the inner barrels were polished as well. There are very minor flaws in the polished surface that are so small you can’t really see them. The center sections were chemically stripped and then lightly media blasted prior to power-coating them with a silver metallic high end resin followed by clear powdercoat. The critical wheel mounting surfaces were not coated so the wheels will mount metal to metal as they should. Note the mounting pads are brushed and sanded smooth. The wheels were then reassembled using the original hardware (Titanium bolts) that was cleaned up, tightening each threaded BBS bolt to 18 ft-lbs. Each bolt was installed using some medium strength thread locking compound as an additional measure to insure the bolts to not vibrate loose. What you end up with is a properly restored and assembled set of wheels. I have included at least one photo of each wheel to see the quality of the refinish job. Note the powdercoat looks wet and has minimal orange-peal finish, indicating a proper powdercoat job. I have spun each wheel on a balancer and verified that it is 100% trued and straight. Includes good used BMW center chips and Roundel emblems. THESE WHEELS WILL SET YOUR CAR APART FROM THE REST! These are favorite upgrade wheels older 5-lug BMWs such as E28 and E34 5-series, E24 6 series, and all the M cars (M3, M5, and M6). Because the offset is 20mm, they should fit just about any 5-lug BMW made prior to 2002 (For E36 and E46 models expect fender interference because the offset is about 20mm different than what is typical). If installed on an older car with a 72.56 mm center bore, hubcentric rings are recommended, and I stock them for $25/4. ____________________________________________________________ SHIPPING DETAILS Domestic Shipping: $195 in the lower 48 states by Fedex Ground.
