NOTE THESE ARE NOT A REPLACEMENT FOR THE VERY EARLY (RARE) CENTURY III VARIATION THAT DOES NOT USE A CIRCUIT BOARD BEHIND THE CONTROL CONSOLE PANEL. THE EARLY PANEL LAMPS ARE INTEGRATED INTO THE CONTROL CONSOLE BOX. IN THAT VARIATION YOU WILL NOT HAVE ROCKER SWITCH LABELS AS THEY ARE PAINTED ON THE PANEL. PLEASE NOTE THAT I HAVE ONLY SEEN A FEW OF THESE VERY EARLY AND EXTREMELY RARE PANELS BUT THEY DO OCCASIONALLY EXIST… These are a limited production run so do not procrastinate if you want one. When they are no longer expected to be available this offering will be removed so buy now with confidence. PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE PURCHASING.They will be sold as a refurbishment to your existing autopilot and are cosmetic only. Where applicable your printed circuit board will secure to the back of the Control Console panel exactly like it currently does. They are as good as they get and are very high quality. Each panel is painted in the correct paint. The military dead flat black top coat is then laser etched for back lighting from your original autopilots circuit board just like it was when it was brand new. These cosmetic parts are intended to improve the appearance of your current Century III or Piper Altimatic auto pilot panels which have become cosmetically damaged, chipped, scratched, and unsightly over time. The following items below will be available at a cost of $350.00 which includes FREE SHIPPING. Control Console Panel – This part is machined out of clear cast acrylic and painted with the original dead flat military grade paint laser etched so your existing circuit board can be secured to the back of the panel to provide the original intended back lighting. ROLL, HDG, ALT, & PITCH labels – These labels are made to fit perfectly in the groves of the Control Console rocker switches. They are very high quality, scratch resistant, reverse printed with a self adhesive strip on the back for easy installation. Roll Knob – This part is machined out of clear cast acrylic and painted with the original dead flat military grade paint laser etched to provide the original intended back lighting. Comes with .050 set screw. Radio Coupler Panel – This part is machined out of clear cast acrylic and painted with the original dead flat military grade paint laser etched so you can achieve the original intended back lighting. Lamps – the original 6 OEM lamps (not easy to find) used in the Control Console Panel. These will need to be soldered to your original circuit board and will help produce the designed back lighting for the Control Console panel. Detailed Instructions & New Hardware required for the install. This includes the screws for the Circuit Board. screws for the Control Console Panel, screws for the Radio Coupler Panel, and the roll knob. I tried to make it as east as it gets. These items are very high quality and intended to cosmetically improve the appearance of your Century III autopilot for years to come.
