Features: 1-5/8″ primaries to 3″ Collectors Includes a pair of 3″ to 2-1/2″ reducers. More Performance Better Fuel Mileage Includes gaskets and mounting hardware Polished Stainless Steel to resist early corrosion Applications: Pontiac: 1970-1979 Firebird/Trans Am 1973-1975 Grand Am 1964-1970 GTO 1964-1975 LeMans Header Specs: Material Type: Steel Header Tube Type: Long Tube Flange Thickness: 3/8″ Finish: Polished Stainless Steel Hardware Included: Yes Gaskets Included: Yes Tube Outside Diameter: 1 5/8″ Collector Diameter: 3″ Reducers: 3″ to 2 1/2″ Notes: Must modify stock exhaust to retain catalytic converter Will not fit with A.I.R. pump. Will not fit Ram Air cylinder heads. End holes on head must be drilled and tapped to insure proper seal. Works with A/C. Polished Stainless Steel Warning: Stainless header tubing when exposed to exhaust temperature will cause the finish to change color which will vary with the exhaust temperatures. Please note that the finish of the header when the engine is started will change to a light champagne color to a darker gold finish and in some instance may even turn dark blue or purple. This can be polished out when utilizing blue-away or simi-chrome polish, but please note that when the headers reach running temperature, they may change color again. No warranty or returns on polished stainless steel exhaust items once they have been installed. Header Return Policy: Please refer to the header measurement chart below to make sure the header will fit your vehicle and application before ordering. In the event you order a header that will not fit your vehicle and application, you may return them for a refund, providing you don’t damage the header.
