eBay ebay – Subaru Carburetor Kit – K730 genuine redline WEBER DGEV CARB KIT FOR Subaru EA82 part # k731 THE KIT YOU NEED TO GET RELIABLE WEBER POWER FROM YOUR 1.6 & 1.8 EA82 OHC SUBARU! Now you can ditch that worn-out and underperforming Hitachi carburetor for a quality Weber 2-barrel! This kit comes with the famous genuine Weber 32/36 Progressive DGEV carburetor. It’s two ports open progressively instead of at the same time (unlike the 38/38 Synchronous Weber), you’ll get noticeable horsepower gains over the stock Hitachi carb along with the efficiency of the carburetor not running all out all the time. The kit comes complete with an adapter kit to mount the Weber to your stock manifold, hardware to hook it up to your stock linkage, an air cleaner assembly, and all the gaskets, hardware, and fuel hose most typical installations will need. You may need to get a fuel pressure regulator (sold separately) as Webers like 3 psi fuel environments and, depending on where you live or your driving style or engine modifications, you may need to re-jet the carburetor however normally these are pretty close for most applications out of the box. This is a GENUINE Weber carburetor that’s made in Spain along with all GENUINE Redline linkage, adapter, and air cleaner parts. This is not the cheap poor quality Chinese-made empi knock-off kit!! Do it once, do it right! What you get: 1 x Weber Progressive Carburetor Conversion Kit Kit comes with: Genuine Weber 32/36 DGEV Carburetor with electric choke Genuine Redline Manifold Adapter Genuine Redline Linkage Adapter Genuine Redline Air Cleaner Assembly various hardware, gaskets, fuel hose, etc as shown in picture (this may vary slightly) Free Redline tech support! No other parts are included!!! Applications: Subaru Brat 1985 – 1987 (will ONLY fit the EA82 OHC engine with a Hitachi carb originally). This kit will not work on motors that had fuel injection. It will not work on OHV engines. It will not work if you have power steering (without doing a lot of modifying on the PS bracket – not recommended). It will also not work if you have a Carter carb – this kit ONLY works if you have a Hitachi carb on your Brat. If you have a Carter carb, you will need to convert over to a original manifold for a Hitachi carb to then do the Weber conversion. We do NOT sell this manifold. The picture in the listing shows a different kit but we will update this shortly. The EA82 kit is similar but runs a 2-pc manifold adapter. So – once again – here is the checklist to see if this kit will work: Only fits EA82 OHC engines that have a Hitachi carburetor without power steering that were originally sold in the US It will NOT fit: any EA71 or EA81 engine any engine with power steering (unless you really want to massively modify the PS bracket) any engine with fuel injection any engine with OHV non-US models (it may work but please contact us BEFORE ordering!)
