eBay Description Suhr Guitars Signature Series Pete Thorn Signature Standard Vintage Gold SN. 69965 The signature model of Pete Thorn, the session guitarist who is currently attracting the most attention from professional musicians, is now available. Equipped with a new version of the Wilkinson Locking Tremolo bridge, the color is a combination of gold top and brown back, giving it a high-end guitar yet a traditional feel. Pete Thorn is an almighty session musician. His nostalgic and dynamic playing covers a wide range of genres, from legendary artists such as Don Henley, Chris Cornell, and Melissa Etheridge to tour support for Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi, and his playing sense is currently attracting the most attention from professional musicians. Although he calls himself a guitar nerd, his background has not only enhanced his reputation as a guitarist, but also helped his debut solo CD, Guitar Nerd, become a top-selling album. Over the past decade, he has worked with John Suhr on developing the signature guitar, the signature amps PT100 & PT15, and the signature Thornbucker pickup. This signature is based on the custom-spec Suhr Standard that Pete has used extensively for studio work and touring over the past few years, and includes a Thornbucker pickup with Suhr-style PAF tone, a Genuine Mahogany body with a Plain Maple Top, a Genuine Mahogany neck, and a Rosewood signature. One that also includes an old taste of wood material for the fingerboard. It features the Standard Dinky shape, which has long been well-regarded for its ease of holding and playing, and the Even C Slim neck, which allows for quick and comfortable fingering.
